Originally founded and based in Stavanger, today, Laerdal Medical is an international market leader in training and therapy products for emergency medicine and critical care. It has remained family-owned with a long-term dedication to its mission. In 2010, Laerdal Global Health was established as a separate not-for-profit company to develop high impact, affordable products to help save lives at birth in low-resource countries.
